Our law firm initially started in the city of Lauderhill, on Oakland Park Boulevard, where we were located from 1981 through 1992. Jackie Gleason lived in the Inverrary section of Lauderhill up until his death in 1987. Since then, the community has changed substantially.
When our law practice was located on Oakland Park Boulevard, pretty much directly across from Inverrary, several incidents occurred that affected our decision to move. One incident involved a robber trying to enter the neighboring Wendy's restaurant through the roof, with helicopters and snipers appearing on site.
