Dan Cytryn was a speaker at the Florida Justice Association's (formerly known as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers) Premises Liability Seminar in Miami-Dade County. Mr. Cytryn addressed the topic and spoke to an audience of lawyers regarding the subject: "Is Your Slip and Fall Case Slipping Away to Nothing?"
In July 2010, the law changed to make it more difficult for victims to win and prove slip and fall cases. The seminar was part of the FJA's Masters of Justice Event held at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.
The law firm has made changes in the law of slip and fall cases over the years. By making new law and suing companies who allow negligent conditions to occur on their premises, the law firm has helped cause businesses and corporations to take better precautions to protect the safety of their patrons. The law firm has successfully handled slip or trip and fall cases against supermarket chains such as Publix, restaurants such as TGI Friday’s and Applebees, movie theatres, shopping centers both inside and outside in their parking lots, and various hotels throughout the State of Florida.
