Dan Cytryn is a licensed
Florida attorney who has been practicing law for more than twenty years,
since 1981. Dan Cytryn was president of the Broward County Trial Lawyers
Association in 1995, and was an officer in the organization for years.
Previously, he served as the head of Case Evaluation for attorneys for
the organization for the years 1990 and 1991.
Mr. Cytryn is a
Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer. In order to become board certified
in the State of Florida, an attorney must have passed a five hour exam
on this subject of civil trial law, and must have the requisite amount
of continuing legal education along with recommendations from other
lawyers and judges in the community. Less than 3% of lawyers practicing
in the State of Florida are Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyers.
Mr.
Cytryn has been appointed by the President of the Florida Bar to the
Florida Bar's Civil Procedure Rules Committee, which is the committee
that makes the rules governing the procedure for civil court proceedings
which must be followed by all judges and lawyers, and has served on
that committee for several years.
Mr.
Cytryn has participated as lead counsel in over eighty jury trials including
medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and vehicular collision
cases. He has handled over twenty appeals including having sucessfully
argued the landmark case of T.G.I. Fridays v. Dvorak in the Florida
Supreme Court.
Mr. Cytryn
has been an E.A.G.L.E. for the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers for
eight years (E.A.G.L.E. members' contributions directly benefit primarily
consumers and further the cause for individual rights), and is a frequent
fundraiser for the organization.
Mr.
Cytryn is a member of the Million Dollars Advocates forum.
He has lectured to attorney organizations and groups on such
as "Jury Selection Secrets and Techniques", "Slip
and Trip and Falls-Should we be taking these cases?",
and"Cost Effective Litigation". He has written
articles for the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association
Newsletter on "the Search for Tort Liability In a Worker's
compensation Accident", and Employer Liability For Intentional
Torts of Employee-Expanding The Horizons of Tort Liability"'
"Race An Issue in Civil Trials", and "Insurance
Companies Pinching Pennies".
Mr. Cytryn
is graduate of the University of Miami, having received a bachelors
degree in business administration in accounting in 1978. He graduated
from Nova Law School in Fort Lauderdale in 1980. Mr. Cytryn has
recently been appointed as a member of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee,
a committee that regulates lawyers' conduct.
Mr.
Cytryn is married with three boys, and has coached basketball for several
years in Coral Springs.

Lisa
Wayne Weiss is a licensed New York and Florida attorney. Ms.
Weiss practiced for five years in New York before joining the Law Offices
of Cytryn and Santana, P.A. Ms. Weiss worked at the law firm Goodkind
Labaton Rudoff & Sucharow LLP on Park Avenue in Manhattan for two
and a half years doing the tobacco class action litigation and nationwide
multi-district litigation. At the Law Offices of Cytryn and Santana, P.A.,
Ms. Weiss has been involved in various facets of personal injury litigation.
Ms. Weiss
graduated from University of Buffalo Law School in 1993. She graduated
from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, in 1989, where she received
a Bachelors degree in Political Science. Ms. Weiss spent her junior
year in college at Columbia University in New York City. Ms. Weiss
is married and currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida.

Eric Santana
is a licensed Florida lawyer with Law Offices of Cytryn and Santana, P.A.
He joined the firm in 1999 after a seven year career as a State Farm
Insurance Adjuster and is able to use his insurance experience to better
serve the office's clients.
Mr. Santana
graduated cum laude from Nova Southeastern University in the top 25%
of his class. He
has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Florida International
University and is a member of the Association of Broward County Mediators.
Mr.
Santana has lived in South Florida for the past twenty-three years and
is fluent in Spanish.
